Meet Dr. Katey
"I want patients to have a smooth and positive transition from Physical Therapy to independent exercise – This is the PT+ difference."
Dr. Katey Dell Goldberger, PT, DPT
Dr. Katey Dell Goldberger started PT+ to fill what she sees is a lack of one-on-one treatment for patients that are referred for or seek skilled Physical Therapy services. Dr. Katey knows that a positive experience with your physical therapist is the best way to ensure carry over to day-to-day living for positive outcomes.
When you're referred to Physical Therapy, you're often confronted by answering machines, overbooked schedules, a gym crowded with equipment and other patients. Your physical therapist may spend only a few minutes with you while you are treated primarily by an aide, assistant or trainer.
At PT+, your positive experience will begin as you're greeted by a caring and helpful staff. Appointments can be scheduled within a week of the time you call our office and we're always willing to work around your schedule. You'll never receive treatment from an aide or trainer. During your treatment sessions, you'll receive one-on-one attention from your licensed therapist, who will work carefully with you to develop a treatment plan specialized to your needs. We believe it's important that each patient understands the role and goal of Physical Therapy and participates in setting and reaching their treatment goals. This will ensure an efficient and safe recovery of function, activities or sport.

Pervasive throughout each patient’s program are injury prevention, wellness and patient education. In her experience, Dr. Katey believes through a comprehensive approach to patient care, positive outcomes will be achieved.
Physical Therapy was a natural progression from her years as a dancer. Starting ballet at the age of 4, Katey’s passion for dance grew as she studied and performed various styles of dance as a young girl, and through her undergraduate career at Goucher College. During her years of dancing, Katey developed respect and appreciation for the body as a tool, understanding proper care and training would allow amazing movements, positions, endurance and athleticism. An understanding of the body and how it works during exercise and movement was an innate progression from her long history of ballet training, which led to her successful career in Physical Therapy.
